After two games, four goals, one assist and two Player of the match awards Mukarama Abdulai has taken the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup by storm producing impressive performances.

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is ongoing in Uruguay and Abdulai has written her name all over the tournament helping Ghana to qualify to the quarter-finals with a game to spare.

The 16-year old Northern Ladies player is the most potent player of the tournament so far with four goals and one assist and she is the only player to win two Player of the Match awards.

Ghana produced a masterclass to destroy host Uruguay by 5-0 on an opening day at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2018 and captain Mukarama Abdulai claimed a hat-trick in the group opener to voted as the best performer of the game.

Abdulai repeated her bold display against Finland on Friday scoring one of her team’s three goals as Ghana won 3-1 over the European side to become the first country to advance to the next round of the competition and once again it was the Northern Ladies teenager that was adjudged the best player of the encounter.

Ghana still has a game a group decider to negotiate but Mukarama has proven that she has all that it takes to even become the overall best player of the tournament.
