The Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Okyere, has announced a 20% discount on the GOtv Super Plus package for the next three months. Instead of the usual GH¢300 customers will now pay GH¢265 for the package.

This offer will allow subscribers to watch all Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and selected UEFA Champions League matches.

Speaking at the launch of the new football season in Accra, Okyere explained that this discount is part of MultiChoice's effort to provide affordable services to its customers.

“We understand the passion and dedication of our subscribers and we are committed to providing you with a viewing experience that you want. To kick off this commitment, we are offering all customers to upgrade to the GOtv Super Plus package at a 20% discount on their monthly subscription for the next three months.

"So instead of GH¢300, you're going to pay GH¢265 to watch all the Premier League games, La Liga, Serie A, and selected UCL matches. We remain steadfast and we are committed to protecting the creative industry and ensuring that premium content is accessible only through legitimate channels,” he said.

Okyere also mentioned that MultiChoice is taking steps to combat piracy and warned that those found guilty will face prosecution.

“So we are determined to dismantle piracy this season and protect the intellectual property of content creators. We plan to intensify our anti-piracy efforts in the coming weeks with raids and prosecutions of anyone found culpable,” he added.
