Muntari ruled out for two weeks

Ghana midfielder, Sulley Muntari has been sidelined for the next two weeks due to a calf injury he picked up last Saturday during Milan’s Serie A clash with Chievo.

The former Inter Milan player was withdrawn in the 45th minute and replaced by compatriot, Michael Essien.

He is now set to miss Milan’s games against Genoa and Catania, but will be available for the Livorno match on April 19.

Muntari’s absence could pave way for Essien to get some game time.
