Ghana forward Kevin Prince Boateng has disclosed that his biggest dream as a child growing up in Berlin was to become a singer.
The 31-year old says he had posters of legendary pop stars Michael Jackson, Usher and Tupac in his room, and he always looked up to them for inspiration.
Boateng was fascinated by the idea of performing on big stages in-front of thousands of fans. But unknown to the then young Kevin, he was going to perform to thousands fans in the stadium rather than the Arenas.
"It has always been the singer, I always wanted to be on stage, to have people in front of me and just for me, to entertain people, to make them cry and to excite them," he told Skysports Italia's The Lord of Football Show.
"This was my dream when I was a child. full of singers' poster: Michael Jackson, Usher, 2Pac Yes, that was my dream, then I got the ball, I stopped it in the chest and I said "I can do that too".
Despite taking football as his main job, the relentless forward has also found time to do music and in 2018, he released his first single titled KING on YouTube.
Boateng is currently on loan at Spanish giants Barcelona from Italian side Sassuolo.
