My dream is to play for the Black Stars – Ahmed Adams

Berekum Chelsea’s defender, Ahmed Adams has opened up on his desire to play alongside his brother Kassim Nuhu Adams in the Black Stars.

Ahmed, who was part of the Black Stars B team that won the 2017 WAFU tournament hosted by Ghana at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium has featured for all the national teams except for the Black Stars.

He says he is confident a call up to Black Stars is only a matter of time.

“That is my humble prayer. Every footballer dreams of playing for his national team. So far I have played for all the national teams except the Black Stars”

Meanwhile, the former Asante Kotoko player has joined the campaign to kick against the slashing of player salaries which is being proposed by some club administrators.

The decision to cut player salaries has arisen due to the suspension of the Ghana Premier League.
