Father of Black Stars and Atletico Madrid midfielder Mr. Adjiingo says his son (Thomas Teye Partey) will like to play in the English Premier League should he get the chance in the coming transfer window.

Many European giants namely Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are teams who are spotted to be interested in the services of the 25-year-old Ghanaian International.

The question still remains if Partey will move on from Atletico Madrid especially when he didn’t get much playing time like he used to do in the previous seasons before the arrival of Thomas Lemar.

In an interview with Accra based Enigye FM, Hon Adjiingo said” I personally told him to move on, if he is not wanted at where he is right now. Because he might be wanted at somewhere else and so he will like to move to England if he gets the chance”.

His father also believed that the absence of Thomas in Atletico’s Champions League against Juventus contributed to the team’s defeat.

” It is true his absence affected his team but Atletico in general were not lucky this season because they had a lot of injuries in their camp,” he said.

Thomas Partey is one of the stars Ghanaians expect to light up Afcon 2019 in Egypt.
