My worst ever game - K.P Boateng

Ghanaian international Kevin Prince Boateng has mentioned that Tuesday night’s Uefa Champions League match against Chelsea was the worst game he had ever played in his career adding that the humiliations was too much for him and his teammates.

Schalke were humiliated 5-0 by José Mourinho’s side in the penultimate matches of the Uefa Champions’ League Group G match played at the Stadion Gelsenkirchen.

“This is the worst match I have played in terms of defeat because the score line was too much for my colleagues and I, and especially the fans who came in their numbers”, Kevin told reporters after the match.

“I really don’t know what to say because we are all gutted by the score line and not the defeat.”

“For Kevin, losing by a goal or two won't sound as bad as a 5-0 score line, but was quick not to apportion blame.

“You can’t blame anyone. It was a collective effort from all of us and in football such things happen. We just did not click today and we allowed Chelsea to play their usual game and we paid for it,” the gutted Kevin Prince Boateng mentioned.

He prayed for a miracle to see them through to the next stage of the competition after placing third on the table with 5 points out of five matches.
