A mysterious ball suddenly appeared on the field of play in the 65th minute, during the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League game between Aduana Stars and Al Tahadi of Lybia at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Sports Stadium at Dormaa.

The sudden appearance of the ball increased the number to two on the field and this prompted Congolese Referee Messie M. Oved Nkounkou Mvoutou to bring the game into temporary halt, as confusion broke out among the players, as to which of the two balls to kick.

The mysterious ball came from the Al Tahadi half, when a midfield tussle for the ball was in motion.

Referee Nkounkou Mvoutou rushed to the scene to bring the situation under control, after he had conferred with some of the players, after which play resumed.

Aduana Stars qualified to the next stage of the championship when they mauled Al Tahadi two goals to nil (2-0), both goals came in the second half from midfielder Elvis Opoku and striker Derrick Sasraku.
