Hearts of Oak Communications Manager Opare Addo has reacted to reports that Asante Kotoko will be given a 40% share of the gate proceeds in their semifinal clash of the NC Special Competition Tier I, hinting the Phobians could withdraw.

Opare Addo who sounded unhappy revealed that nothing has been communicated to the Phobians regarding the change in the disbursement of the gate proceeds and they will wait for the official confirmation from the Normalization Committee before taking their step.

He also hinted the Phobians will not agree if the report circulating happens to be true.

“Hearts of Oak have not said we are bothered or worried about anything.

“We have no problem is someone (The NC) decides to give his portion of money to someone (Kotoko).

“But if you have money and want to share then you must share it wisely,” he insinuated on Nhyria FM Sports.

“We are reluctant on commenting on this issue until we’ve received official communication then we will also reply with whatever we have to tell the NC.

“I will entreat all our fans to keep calm and we will make sure of taking a decision that will be in the best interest of this club”

Hearts of Oak are set to face Asante Kotoko in the semi finals of the competition on the 16th of June 2019.
