NPP Youth Organizers call on Sports Minister

The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and his ten regional youth organisers have paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah in Accra.

The meeting was to introduce themselves to him and to also know about the objectives of the Ministry.

The National Youth Organiser, Nana Henry Boakye, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, commended the minister for his performance in prosecuting the agenda of the President and assured him of their readiness to assist him to continue with his excellent work.

He stated that they were ready to ensure that the party and the government were retained in power come the next general elections.

Hon. Asiamah on his part commended the Youth Organizers for their determination to assist the government to prosecute its human-centered policies and programs, assuring that that his doors were always opened for suggestions and interactions.

He disclosed that the Ministry has lined up many programs that are youth-oriented and therefore called on the youth in the country to take advantage of such programs to improve on their lives.

For instance, Hon. Asiamah told the Youth Organizers about the various mini stadia being constructed across the country coupled with the youth programs being organized by the National Youth Authority (NYA) and some other initiatives the youth could tap into to change their lives.

Present at the meeting were the Chief Executive Officer of the NYA and Ag. Director-General of the National Sports Authority respectively.
