NSA consoles Samuel Anim family

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has sent their condolences to the family of Samuel Anim who passed away on Saturday.

Anim, Ghana’s best cyclist and medal hopeful for the impending All-African Games 2015 met his untimely death in a fatal accident in Accra.

A statement signed by Frederica Mensah - Davies, the Public Relations Officer said that ‘‘The National Sports Authority, with a heavy heart and great pain do express its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Samuel Anim and the Ghana Cycling Federation.

‘‘We at the Authority are saddened by the loss of our great sportsman, and it is our prayer that the good God keeps him in His bosom, until we meet again’’.

He led Team Ghana at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and was the 2014 Cowbell Cycling champion.
