Nationwide Supporters Union (NSU) President, Aziz Haruna Futah has criticized Black Stars Coach Avram Grant’s decision to include Razak Braimah’s in his 26-man preliminary squad, stating that the Mirandes’ goalkeeper lacks certain qualities of modern day of a shot-stopper.
The Spain based goalkeeper, who was selected ahead of Aduana Stars glovesman Stephen Adams, joined Ernest Sowah and Fatawu Dauda in the squad that will hold a 10-day training camp in Seville, Spain.
“I was shocked at Razak Braimah inclusion in the 26-man squad. He cannot even kick the ball,” Mr. Haruna Futah told Accra-based radio station Asempa 94.7FM.
“If you watched our game in Tamale against Togo, he couldn’t even kick, and it is dangerous because modern day goalkeepers act as a libero,” he added.
