Winner of this season’s National Women’s League will take a prize money of GHC10, 000, according to the Women’s League Board.
This year’s Women’s top-flight has received decent amount of mileage compared to the previous seasons.
Organizers without a sponsor for the League have decided to award the winner with GHC10, 000 whilst the runner-up takes home GHC5,000.
Techiman-based Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Takoradi-based Hasaacas Ladies could meet for the second time in the finals as both teams top the Northern and Southern zones respectively.
Ampem Darkoa who suffered a painful 1-0 defeat at the hands of the defending Champions (Hasaacas Ladies) sit top of the Northern zone with 29 points after 13 matches.
Hasaacas Ladies on the other hand have secured 27 points so far and are top of their zone.
The National Women’s League enters week 14 this weekend.
