Nduom chases Sports Ministry for GHC430k debt

The Management of Nduom Sports Stadium and Coconut Groove Hotel are on the heels of the Ministry of Youth and Sports claiming a cost of ?430k incurred during the 2018 Africa Women’s AFCON.

Reports after the tournament were that the Sports Ministry owed the the Elmina-based entity for its usage during the tournament.

The reports were flatly denied by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

But the management of the two entities led by Philip Lud is claiming the Sports Ministry owe them ?430,000.

Speaking on Nimde3 FM, the manager of the companies PHILIP LUD, said, they have written to the Ministry to settle the debt but to no avail.

The two be ientities could turn attention to the court soon to address their grievances.

“It’s true the Ministry of Youth and Sports owe Nduom Stadium and Coconut Groove Hotel ?430,000,” Philip Lud said.

“We have written so many letters to the consultant, the Deputy Minister but to no avail. We are urging the Government to pay our money to us,” he ordered.

The Nduom Sports Stadium was used as a training facility during the tournament while some of the teams lodged at the Coconut Groove Hotel.

The 2018 AWCON tournament was won by Nigeria after defeating South Africa.
