New Head Coach of reigning Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars has been formally introduced to the playing body of the club.
Paa Kwesi Fabin met the players led by captain Yahaya Mohammed as the club embarked on a training session on Tuesday to prepare for their upcoming league clash with Dreams FC on Saturday.
Coach Fabin committed to a contract with the Ogya Lads sometime last week and was present at the stadium when they beat Asante Kotoko at Dormaa days ago, albeit as just an observer.
The experienced tactician who has had coaching stints with local clubs like Kotoko and Inter Allies takes over the head coach role from Paul Tandoh who has served in an acting capacity ever since the demise of former coach Yussif Abubakar.
He is expected to tactically steer the club’s title defense successfully in what has been a topsy-turvy season so far. Aduana Stars currently lie third on the league; trailing league leaders AshGold SC by just a point.
