Former Ebusua Dwarfs striker Nicholas Gyan is reported to have joined Legon Cities FC as a free agent for the rest of the current Ghana Premier League season.
Gyan, 21, trained with South Africa second-tier club Uthongathi FC two months ago but could not secure a deal-causing him to return to Ghana and join the local side.
Gyan was supposed to join defending Champions Aduana Stars but the deal couldn’t materialize as the two parties couldn’t come to a consensus.
Legon Cities currently sit 14th on the league table although the competition has been suspended.
The signing of the veteran striker could solve part of the club's problems.
