Nigeria U23 arrive today for All Africa Games qualifier

Nigeria’s Under-23 will arrive in Accra today (Wednesday) ahead of the crucial second leg of the All Africa games qualifier at Kumasi.

The Dream Team V are in pole position to book the ticket to the championship in Mozambique after a 3-1 win in the first leg at Benin City.

Nigeria head coach Austin Eguavoen will be without influential midfielder Obiora Nwankwo while winger Ahmed Musa has returned to club side VV Venlo to rest after featuring for the Under 20s, Olympic team and the Super Eagles.

His opposite number Akwasi Appiah has been boosted by the returns of captain Samuel Inkoom and midfield sensation Emmanuel Agyeman Badu.
