Nigeria has won the team events in both the male and female U-19 category of the ongoing 2018 Africa Badminton Schools Championship in Ghana.

South Africa, who are only competing in the female category, could not much the strength of the Nigerians as they lost all three final games to Nigeria.

In the men's event, the story was not different, as the Nigerians brushed aside Cote D'Voire, Niger and Benin to win the men's U-19 category.
