NIMA BEACH SOCCER GETS SET FOR ELITE LEAGUE
Nima Beach Soccer led by Mustapha
Mohammed of African Sports Kids Foundation (ASK Foundation) fame are preparing
feverishly to compete in the Ghana Beach soccer elite Championship division
after topping the exciting Big division League season 2012/13.
Nima have been able to topple Gulf
Powers who looked like following the steps of Teshie and Nungua who qualified
from Division One.
According to Mustapha Mohammed his
club will take the Championship by storm and surprise every body including Keta
Sunset. He praised all the clubs that participated in the Ghana Beach Soccer
League and prayed that other corporate bodies will join CAL Bank, the official
sponsors of the game in Ghana.
He commended the executive
especially Yaw Ampofo Ankra and urged him to look out for dedicated and devoted
people to work with. He observed that the media has not promoted the game very
much and appealed to the television stations especially and the newspapers to
follow the axtivities of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association.
Meanwhile, feverish preparations are
underway by Mustapha Mohammed to organize the Kids Sports Festival in Nim, a
suburb of Accra and he has appointed Sammy Heywood Okine as the Public
Relations and Media Officer of the ASK Foundation. The event which invole
football and athletics runs from September to December this year.
