No Kotoko player will make our starting line-up - Aduana Stars chief

Aduana Stars are resigned to losing out-of-contract defender Wahab Adams to Kumasi Asante Kotoko but board member Yaw B.A believes the Ogya side are still superior.

First team players Godfred Saka and Daniel Darkwah have already left Dormaa following the expiration of their contracts and the next on the move is former Hasaacas center-back Wahab Adams.

The 2017 Ghana league champions were unwilling to meet the financial demands of the defender and decided to let him leave and according to Yaw B.A, Aduana Stars still have a better squad over Kotoko whom Wahab is expected to join .

“Wahab is a very good player. We already have his replacement and we assure our fans by the close of this week we will announce who that replacement is.” Yaw B.A told Metro FM Sports on Monday morning.

“Look at even the Kotoko team that Wahab is going to join and tell me which of their players will make out first eleven team? You will be quick ti mention Amos Frimpong but for me he isn’t a true right back. We have better right-backs in Hafiz Adams and Amankwah Caleb.”

“Sadick Adams isn’t better than Derrick Sasraku. None of their players will start our games on merit” Yaw B.A added.

Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko are paired in the same Group A of next month’s GHALCA G8 pre-season tournament and will meet on January 14th at the Babayara sports stadium.
