Pretoria, June 29, GNA - Fred Pappoe, Chairman of the Black Stars management committee, says no special package has been prepared for the team in the quarter final game against Uruguay on Friday, because the players are well motivated enough to deliver.
He told the GNA Sports that before the start of the competition, the committee had a meeting with the players and agreed on financial packages for each stage of the competition.
"What we have agreed on is indeed enough to motivate them for another victory when we meet Uruguay in the quarter finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Friday", he added.
His remarks were in reaction to questions posed by the GNA Sports on whether there was any special package to be given to the team by the management ahead of Friday's game.
Pappoe was, however, evasive on the details of the agreed package but maintained everything had been settled with the players and was confident the team will perform.
Pappoe, who doubles as the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), said the team was on course to cause another stir in the competition after their last victory over United States of America (USA). He indicated that the players are focused for the task ahead and nothing would stop them from attaining victory. 29 June 10
