No need to press panic button - Herbert Addo

Experienced coach Herbert Addo says his Inter Allies side are refusing to give up on their survival chances in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The debutants have been the surprise package in the second half of the season having gone eight matches without defeat.

Inter Aliies have racked up 15 points from their last seven games 7 points better than leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko in that same space.

They lie one point above the relegation mark but have played one match more than bottom sides Amidaus and Aduana Stars.

“Panicking? Not at all we are enjoying our football and keeping our focus,” the former Hearts of Oak trainer said.

“In moments like this cool heads are needed and for me survival is the goal and nothing else.

“We have chalked some successes but it will all amount to nothing if we do not stay up so we are taking every game as it comes and hope we are able to carry on this way.

“I must say management has been magnificent and the lads have been terrific so with this we are certain for greater things.”

Inter Allies will face Wa All Stars next Wednesday in the Ghana Premier League.
