Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Karela United, Eric Alagidede has indicated that there is no pressure on the Anyinase based side going into their match week 12 fixture against Accra Hearts of Oak.

The two sides have been the top performing teams in the Premier B division of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition. Whiles the Rainbow boys occupy top spot, Karela are right behind them in 2nd position with just a single point separating the two.

In the upcoming match, the two will not only be fighting for the bragging rights but they will also have the opportunity to take the lead at the top. If Hearts win, they will go four points clear at the top. Whereas if Karela wins, they will take 1st position and with 2 points advantage.

Speaking ahead of the all-important fixture in an interview with Ashh MF today, Eric Alagidede has revealed that they have the best players in the competition and therefore there is no pressure on them playing away to the Phobians at this time of the competition.

“Our game against Hearts of Oak on Wednesday would be the biggest game in our zone because, it’s a battle between the first placed team and the second placed team on the log”, he said.

He added, “There is no pressure on Karela United ahead of our game against Hearts of Oak because we have the best players in the ongoing tournament."
