Communications Director of Karela United Eric Alagidede has stated that the Normalisation Committee is trying to incite the Premier League clubs against the public.

On Monday, the proposed Special Competition aimed at engaging Ghanaian clubs whilst the reformation of Ghana football takes shape by the Normalisation Committee was cancelled after both parties failed to come to an agreement on three consecutive times.

During an interview with Happy FM, Alagidede, who doubles as spokesperson for Premier League clubs, indicated that it's no fault of the Premier League clubs that the Special Competition was cancelled as they only demanded for transparency.

"The Normalisation committee is not fit for purpose. They just want to incite the public against the Premier League clubs," says Alagidede.

"We asked them for the financial breakdown of the competition three weeks ago but they didn’t mind us but they want us to sign up for the competition."

Mr. Alagidede added that the choice of words used in the Committee's press release was derogatory.

"The tone of the letter was arrogant but we don’t want to go the same lane they are going."

"They don’t know that they are the mother body so they can’t be using such words. That letter was insulting and it’s sad that they're not aware."

He deduced that the Premier League clubs will meet and take a decision which will be communicated to the general public.
