Ghana football’s Normalisation Committee (NC) are fashioning out a structural organogram which will do away with the position of GFA President.

Reports we are picking indicate that Committee as parts of their road map for Ghana football want to change the structures of the FA by forming a board and selecting one person to be the Chairman of the Association instead of electing a President.

According to the proposal, the FA will have a Board of Directors and the person chosen as the Board Chairman will be a Chief Executive Officer of the FA. According to the proposal, this person will be in charge of the day-to-day activities of the Football Association.

This Chief Executive Officer will be empowered by the FA Constitution to work independently and will do some of the works that have been done over the years by the President of the FA.

According to our sources, an effective check and balance system in the running of the Association will also be included in the proposal.
