The Normalization Committee steering the affairs of Ghana Football will today, Tuesday, November 13 meet some key stakeholders to discuss the current state of Ghana Football and also discuss ways to move Ghana Football forward.

The Normalization Committee, headed by Dr Kofi Amoah has in recent weeks met with club owners and members of the media to brief them about the work they have done since taking over the administration of the football association.

Today’s meeting which will take place at the FA headquarters will involve mainly the judicial organs of the FA and the Standing Committees will be a big step forward in the work of the Normalization Committee.

As you may recall most of the judicial organs and the Standing Committees of the FA have not been effective since the airing of the explosive Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative piece that has caused the top hierarchy of the then Kwesi Nyantakyi-led administration to step aside.

In the invitation letter sent to members of the various committees and sighted by Ghanaweb.com, the Normalization Committee says the meeting ‘is aimed at discussing the state of Ghana Football and the way forward.”

Some of the judicial organs of the FA include Disciplinary Committee, Appeals Committee, and the Ethics Committee.

The standing committees of the GFA include The FA Cup Committee, Player Status Committee, Women’s League Board, Premier League Board, Division One League, Legal Committee and Referees Committee.

It is unknown if the Normalization Committee at this committee will discuss the possibility of maintaining the current committee for the time being or look at reconstituting it with new people.
