Norwich City has strengthened their squad with the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah from RB Salzburg.
The 21-year-old has penned a four-year contract with the option of an additional year.
The transfer fee of the deal remains undisclosed. Amankwah will wear the number 18 jersey at Norwich City.
Amankwah began his career at WAFA SC before moving to Salzburg in 2021.
During his time with Salzburg, he went on loan to Liefering and Rheindorf Altach.
He enjoyed success with Salzburg, winning the Austrian Bundesliga twice in the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons.
Last season, he made his Champions League debut and made a total of 27 appearances across all competitions.
Amankwah also played his first match for the Black Stars this year in the friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda.
