No one steps on the viper's tail without getting its poisonous venom in his veins, could typically describe the current situation at the Ghana Football Association secretariat where the management board chairman, Dr. N.Nyaho-Tamakloe faces the wrath of the Executive Council (EC) for questioning the size and credibility of the body.
In an interview with Kwabena Kyere Stugard of SPACE FM, Mr. J.Y. Appiah the chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), who is also a member of the EC wondered why the FA boss who is a member of EC could make such pronouncements. "By his actions and pronouncements, he (Nyaho-Tamakloe) has demonstrated that he is not abreast with the laws and the statues of the game and therefore incapable of handling the job", he fumed.
When asked whether the Council has considered impeaching him if he fails to convince the EC about his pronouncements, Mr. Appiah said the council would use all legal means available to deal with anyone who undermines the council.
Feeling irked about the contents of Nyaho-Tamakloe's letter to the minister of Education Youth and Sports concerning reforms at the FA, the vice chairman of congress, Y.A. has responded with a strongly worded letter giving ultimatum of 5.00pm to the FA boss to clarify issues or face the consequences.
