Black Stars management committee member, Joseph Yaw Appiah, has confirmed resolving the misunderstanding between GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice George Afriyie.
According to the seasoned football administrator, it was not difficult settling the mix-up between the two football leaders.
The genesis of the feud was Afriyie’s acceptance of the Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuije’s call for locally-based players to be used for the 2017 Afcon qualifier against Rwanda without discussing with Nyantakyi.
“They were united, it was just one or two misunderstanding which took us less than five minutes to resolve. We have been friends and a family for quite a long time.
"Naturally, even the teeth and tongue they fight it was just a small thing [and] we have been able to rectify it”, Appiah told Starr Sports.
