The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi has strongly rebuffed claims that he’s grooming and intense lobbying to get Dreams FC Executive Chairman, Kurt E. S. Okraku to succeed him at the next GFA election.
Kwesi Nyantakyi, who’s the Confederation African Football (CAF), First Vice President says everyone at the FA, who in one way or the other is playing an active role, currently has the wherewithal to take up the position after him. He maintained that he can’t groom or lobby for anyone to take over from him.
“I’m not grooming anybody. Everyone you see there at the Ghana Football Association is capable of becoming the next GFA President. It’s not true that I’m grooming someone for the GFA seat” he told Accra based Vision One FM.
The FA President has said that, he will not be vying for the GFA Presidency in 2019 after what will be his third-term in office.
