President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi says he has no beef with his vice, George Afriyie, following rumours that they are not in good terms with each other.
Reports were rife that the Ghana FA capo is having troubles with his deputy regarding their relationship at work.
However, the CAF Executive Member has refuted those claims that he begrudges his right-hand man and maintains that their rapport is still intact and cordial as usual.
"I've heard of that, but I don't know where such reports are coming from. I don't have any problem with George Afriyie at all," he told Kumasi-based radio station Ahoto FM.
We just had a meeting(Tuesday) at the GFA secretariat and we even discussed about it as why some people want to create problems between the two of us," "So as I'm speaking to you now, there's nothing going on between us regarding any misunderstanding or disputes concerning our relation to work," he said.
The West African Football Union(WAFU) chief has confirmed that he has indeed taken some media houses to court with some guys, and more are yet to follow.
"We've already taken Asempa FM to court with other men who always intend tarnishing my image with corruption allegations. The issue is already before the court and not only the people we've sued, but there're more other guys involved who will soon be brought into camera regarding the lawsuit," he remarked.
Kwasi Nyantakyi has been the longest serving Ghana FA president since he assumed office in 2005.
