Ghana FA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi, earns a paltry GHC 2000 as his allowance, his deputy George Afriyie has revealed.
The Ghanaian FA leader has constantly been accused of siphoning cash at the federation without basis.
A tiny minority of the Ghanaian media have sought to portray the CAF Executive Committee member is on a fat salary while football clubs continue to struggle.
But the constant claims have been quashed with the revelation he receives less than $600 as his monthly entitlement.
“It will interest you to know that Kwesi Nyantakyi takes less than GHC 2000 as allowance which many won’t believe because he is not on salary," Afriyie told Accra-based Starr FM
“I was amazed when I saw the FIFA President’s salary I was astonished with his qualification and pedigree.
“Even the CEO of Ashgold, Kudjoe Fianoo’s salary is far better than Nyantakyi and we welcome this declaration."
The revelation will silence critics who jump at the least opportunity to attack the integrity of the rising Ghanaian FA leader.
