The President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has hailed the technical team of the National Under-17 male football team, the Black Starlets, after they qualified to the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Morocco next year.
The Black Starlets had failed in two attempts in four year’s but Coach Paa Kwesi Fabien and his assistant Isaac Opele have defy all odds and they have been able to qualify the team at the expense of a strong South African team.
“I’m glad the team has qualified. The technical team has done a great Job right from the onset and we will support the team before they even embark on the journey in Africa next year in Morocco,” President of the Ghana Football Association said.
The National Under-17 team qualified on 5-3 aggregate after they defeated the Amajimbos by two goals to one at the Essipong Stadium over the weekend.
