Nyantakyi must stand unopposed as GFA boss

As any elections that goes against the incumbent comes as a result of poor performance but the case of this current FA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi is different. The man, undoubtedly is workaholic and dedicated serviceman.

As a lawyer by profession he has unselfishly served his motherland and the history he has since made for this football crazy nation can never be surpassed or erased by the next three generations, trust me.

Humility, calmness and friendliness have been the stronghold of his success which other (Football Associations) FAs on this continent are envy of. Three consecutive World Cup appearances with great impact from the first two, routine improvement on FIFA rankings every month, better league system, all the football department structures in the country are on solid rock under Nyantakyi's undisputed administration, grassroots football from colts to academies are functioning like white blood cells in one’s body, Under 20 won 2009 World cup, Under 17 female team won bronze medal on the world stage, Black Stars soaring in a pool of sponsorship.

Under Nyantakyi's football administration, every Ghanaian feels proud in any country because the country have been properly sold in terms of any football tournament. What else do you want, the question asks. From CAF to FIFA Executive committee membership, our football doesn't want a stranger who is just coming to dab his CV at FA, hence the retaining of Nyantakyi as GFA boss is paramount to any unbiased sports journalist.

All those blind critics, who because of their selfish interests must also present the CV and the achievement of their master who has intention of standing against Kwasi.

In related development, I would like to use this medium to advice Countryman Songo to stop his unnecessary and biased criticism he and his colleagues do against Nyantakyi because the man is way, way gone and no one can equal what he has achieved for himself and the country. Criticism is good but baseless ones that bare no facts must be brushed off.

To the entire FA staff especially Communications Director Saani Daara, I say kudos and continue your good work without any fear.

I am done.
