Nyantakyi sure of retaining seat

Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi is confident that he will retain his seat Ghana Football Association (GFA) president and continue his good works for Ghana soccer.

The astute football administrator stressed that he had done a yeoman’s job to bring Ghana football to its current enviable status.

Sounding confident, the GFA boss stated that he would bank on his past impressive records to retain his enviable seat.

He was reacting to Vincent Sowah Odotei’s assertion that he (Nyantakyi) would be overthrown from office, legally.

Lawyer Nyantakyi said he was not bothered about the threats from Mr Odotei, since the latter was only bragging, according to him.

“The wishful thinking by people like Odotei will not see the light of day,” he said in a recorded voice, played on Angel fm.

According to the GFA Boss he enjoys a lot of goodwill from the football fraternity so threats on his throne “don’t shake me”.

Lawyer Nyantakyi said he had done well for the country and he would retain his seat to sustain his exemplary works for Ghana soccer.

The Ghana Football Association would soon go to congress to elect its president among other officers, and Vincent Odotei is eying the seat of Mr Nyantakyi.
