Wife of Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi, Christine Nyantakyi, has bemoaned the constant verbal attacks on her husband’s personality.
Although the pretty banker considered the unfortunate incident as occupational hazard, she described it as unhealthy and appalling.
She told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that “it is not pleasant at all, although I consider it an occupational hazard. There are times our kids, particularly the eldest, come home from school that she heard on radio in the car that somebody was insulting daddy.”
The GFA chief has suffered bad press lately despite guiding Ghana to an unprecedented three streak World Cups, won Africa’s only gold at the U- 20 level, first ever bronze in female U-17 World Cup, silver at U-20 male soccer World Cup, the constriction of four FIFA Goal Projects, training and certification of countless coaches in the country, among other achievements.
