OPINION: Bleeding Under A New Order

It is too clear that JAK's all inclusive government does not cover guys with NDC traits. It is a major issue for the young Bonsu.

After becoming a victim of the storm created by the omnious defeat of his King makers, the NDC, there is the need to revise his notes.

His strategy is double edged: sell what seemed a perfect remedy to deal with the ailing Ghana soccer in his book that deals with the problems of Ghana football and also to diminish the memory of all those Kukrudites who see his sudden U-turn as opportunistic.

Bonsu has began in earnest to exploit the Wofa connection with the current Head of State JAK. Of course JAK ought to be careful.

Already the men at the other side are taunting him for fielding pals with blood relations in the positive change. Bonsu thus seemed less threatened by the Mallam's lack of knowledge in the game.

His game plan is only endangered by his association with the former regime.

For now the reassuring thing is "I am the 'Wofaase' of His Excellency the President; despite my association with his Jerryship I am more than prepared to work in harmony with you, Mallam for my Uncle's government to gain acceptability by the Ghanaian people.

However with JAK himself attesting to the qualities of the Mallam, none can influence him.

Bonsu might be aware of the Mallam's sterling qualities and therefore the need to woo him even before the others all join in the fray.

So first he travelled on the same flight with the Mallam to Sudan to watch the Black Stars lose to the Sudanese in a World Cup qualifier. Bonsu according to credible information gathered, became the aide de camp of the Mallam, carrying his brief case on board the aircraft after the abortive Black Stars trip to the horn of Africa.

Bonsu probably qualifies for the job,but the scheming is such that one has to question the reasons behind his desperation.

Did he give out money to any individual in the past government who promised to offer him the job? And is his desperation a way of getting his reward? For now Jawula remains the hottest guy for the seat despite the turbulent and trial moment that he is going through. As for Abedi Pele, we need to remind him that the wedge he created in the Stars is still hunting him.

And I wonder if he can succeed as the F.A Chairman. Your in-law could do all she can, but the simple truth is that you are not cut for the job.

Even the Beckenbaurers had serious association with the Bayern Technical bench before they gained the needed expertise to assume the Presidency of Bayern Munich. So why doesn't the Maestro join the Stars Technical bench for now.
