AWOL Hearts of Oak playmaker Obed Ansah does not know when he will lace his boots again in a competitive football game, neither does he even know where he will play next. His hitherto 3-year deal at Hearts having expired at the end of last season, the petit midfielder has yet to commit to a club with rumours continuously linking him to Asante Kotoko.
Ansah has exclusively confirmed to ALL SPORTS about several offers from clubs both in Ghana and abroad but he is waiting on God to inspire his next move even as he sits at home with two-thirds of the season already gone.
“My plans are in my head and I cannot tell you anything now. For now I’m just waiting on the Lord. Everything is in the hands of God almighty. If it was not for the Lord, nobody knows Obed Ansah so I’m waiting on him to make a way for me,” the player nicknamed Xavi told us yesterday.
He also insists that he will have no rusty problems whenever he finally puts pen to paper for a club because he is always training. Obed Ansah stated: “I train all of the time and I’m fit. I play Monday Stars with Liberty Professionals players, with Helegbe, Peter Ofori-Quaye and the rest. I have no fitness problems.”
