Obric Sala holds press conference on Tuesday

Accra, March 7, GNA - Obric Sala Entertainment and Promotions Syndicate will on Tuesday hold a press conference at St Francis House near Swanlake in the Central Business District of Accra.

Nii Lantey Vanderpuje, a member of the management board of the Syndicate said the conference, which would start at 12 noon, would be used to sign a new boxer at the ceremony.

He said Obric Sala has come to change the face of boxing management and promotion in the country and called on the media to support the Syndicate's cause so that Ghana would be able to turn out world champions in the near future.

The management board member said Obric Sala was poised to comb the nooks and crannies of the country to discover budding stars to provide them with the platform to realise their full potentials. Nii Vanderpuje enjoined the media to turn out in their numbers to cover the press conference.

Obric Sala put up the Commonwealth Welterweight title fight between Joshua Okine and Fatai Onikeke of Nigeria last Friday night. Okine stopped Onikeke in the eighth round to become the new champion.
