Obuasi MCE to revive colts football

Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive, Richard Agyemang Ofori Boadi, has promised to assist colts football with an annual donation of GH¢8,000 as part of his efforts to revive the game in the municipality.

Speaking at the event dubbed: ‘Freedom Day Media Gala’, organized by Shaft FM, O FM and Solar FM, the MCE pledged to support the clubs with the amount in order to assist them in their financial burden.

The MCE said “since I was appointed into office to become the MCE of Obuasi, I’ve realised there has been no colts football in the municipality for close to three years and I promise to revive it”.

“I will be supporting the Colts Football Association with an amount of GH¢8,000 annually to help the development of the young talents we have in the municipality”, he added.
