Accra, June 7, GNA - Ecstatic Accra Hearts of Oak's coach, Emmanuel Ofei Ansah was rushed to the Ridge Hospital when he collapsed after his side won 1-0 in their gruelling eighth-week GT Premier League match over Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals on Tuesday at the Ohen Djan Sports stadium in Accra.

The medical officials present referred the coach to the Ridge Hospital after administering first aid treatment on him. The coach, according to information pieced together by GNA Sports submitted to ecstasy after supervising the lone goal victory over his former boss, Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio's team in a game that was regarded by some soccer fans as "a father and son" affair.

The stand-in coach who has recently stayed under the microscope of supporters of Hearts, kept to his feet all afternoon, issuing consistent instructions to his players, a situation, which the medical team told the GNA Sports contributed to his state of condition.

Tuesday's victory was his fifth in seven games.

Coach Ansah assumed the reigns of the team after the Phobians dispensed with the services of Archibald Lamptey after only a game in charge.
He has drawn one and lost one, with the defeat being their 3-1 drubbing from their bitterest arch-rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
