Ofeibea Ramatu has picked up her form to contest for the Ghana FA Presidency, a day before nominations for the highest position in football administration in the country officially closes.

The self-acclaimed juvenile coach had a representative secure the forms from the account’s office of the GFA on Wednesday.

She later displayed her form after it was returned to her by her representative.

This is the first step for Ramatu in confirming her intentions to challenge incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi for the GFA Presidency at a congress slated to take place on August 18 in Tamale.

She is however already racing against time to qualify to contest for the position as she needs 10 members in good standing of the Ghana FA to endorse her nomination within the next 24 hours.

Kwesi Nyantakyi is seeking a fresh four-year mandate at the upcoming congress in Tamale.

The intelligent lawyer had been the head of the GFA since 2005 with leading the Black Stars to three successive World Cup finals as part of his major achievements.
