Barcelona have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender David Oduro from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions.
The left-back secured the transfer to the Catalan giants after a successful trial in 2023.
In a statement released by Barcelona, Oduro will pen a three-year deal that will run until June 2027 and will play for the B team, Barça Atlètic.
"Agreement reached between FC Barcelona and Ghana side Accra Lions for the transfer of the player David Oduro, who will join Barça Atlètic. Oduro signs for three seasons until June 30, 2027," the club wrote on their website.
Oduro is said to travel to Barcelona in the coming days for his contract signing and official presentation.
He has now become the second Ghanaian to play for Barcelona after Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The 18-year-old is also the first player to join the glamorous club directly from the Ghana Premier League.
