Official: Eric Bekoe completes Kotoko move

Striker Eric Bekoe has finally completed his move to Ghanaian Champions Asante Kotoko.

The 25-year-old penned a one-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors after passing his medical on Tuesday morning.

He becomes the second high profile striker to have joined the ranks of the Kumasi-based club after ex-Ghana youth star Ransford Osei completed a similar deal last week.

The former Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals joined man Petroject in 2009 after scoring 17 goals to win the Premier League’s top scorer.

But recurrent injuries plighted his career with the Egyptian outfit and officials opted to release him with a year remaining on his contract.

He is now fully fit and raring to go and expected to form a strong attacking partnership with Ransford Osei.

Kotoko are determined to retain their Premier League crown and make a huge impact in the next year’s Caf Champions League.

The last time they played in the continental inter-club competition was six years and are anxious to return to the top of African Football once again.
