Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has expressed delight after winning the man of the match award against Hearts of Oak.

The Mauves and Yellow snatched a late equalizer through Abdullai Tahiru at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium after Traore had given Hearts of Oak the lead earlier in the second half.

Antwi who produced some wonderful saves was adjudged the man of the match and he revealed that it was not an easy game though he was up to the task.

” I’m happy to win the man of the match award, it wasn’t an easy game. Both teams played well very well, it was a difficult game but I think a drew is a fair results” Antwi told footballmadeinghana.com

” I think my good performance is as a result of hard and extra work. All the goalkeepers here are very Good. It depends on the coaches to select who plays in every game”

Medeama SC ended the first round on top of the league table with 27 points from 15 games.
