Olele should stop the accusations and quit honourably

Richard Kingston should admit the fact that he is old and currently clubless. The only qualification for regular selection to Black Stars is active football in your club and Olele should tell us, which club is he playing for now? The Black Stars doesn't belong to one player and no player is indispensable so far as the team’s current performance is concerned.

Olele and Sammy Adjei have paid their dues and they should concentrate elsewhere because the team can't drop Ernest Sowah and Nii Agyei for such old hands. l laughed when l heard Olele on Radio Gold accusing one of the new FA members that, he will make sure the old players are out of Black Stars. So Olele now believes that some of the FA members connived to kick him out of the squad?

To me, l don't know why a section of the media are defending him knowing very well that a frustrated man is always addicted to lies. l want the Ethics committee of the FA to officially invite Olele to pinpoint that FA member who said that in the presence of the committee. He is frustrated so he wants to say something to earn public sympathy.

It is not the first time a player is coming out with such accusations, it has been their norm over the years. Anytime they are dropped out of a squad they don't assess why they were dropped but rather apportion unnecessary blames. Olele should know that it is not a matter of getting rid of old players from the squad but the current performance of the team has exposed him – the three current goalkeepers are far better than him.

Is Olele the only old player in the squad at the moment? If it is really true the FA members are edging out the old players from the squad, I think John Mensah and Muntari would have been also kicked out together with him.

What makes Olele’s accusation a fallacy is the fact that why is it this time that he is coming out because from his own statement he said the FA member made the statement during Ghana/Congo match? What was he waiting for? So does it mean that he wouldn't have coughed out this allegation had he been selected?

Sports analyst of Radio Gold, Wano wano, should skip this story and allow the FA their peace of mind to work because the selected goalkeepers are in the team on merit. We should not make this Olele story overshadow our Nations’ Cup preparations.

l will end with a plea that the Ethics committee should invite Olele for questioning and if he fumbles, he gets punishment. They should emulate Cameroon’s example of Samuel Eto’O ban. Long live GFA, long live the Black Stars.
