Great Olympics attacker, Kwame Boateng has arrived in Kumasi to complete his protracted move to Asante Kotoko, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

Sources close to the dethroned league champions have revealed that Boateng will be sealing his move to the Porcupine Warriors by Friday.

Boateng was one of the best strikers in the just ended Ghanaian Premier League, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions.

The 22-year-old striker's transfer to Asante Kotoko became evidently clear when the club’s official newspaper (Kotoko Express) reported that the club will be signing one more striker.

Asante Kotoko have so far signed eight new players including Ernest Sowah, Halipha Sedogo, Samuel Kyere and Evans Quao.

Others are Theophilus Nyame, Richard Osei Aguyemang, Edwin Tuffuor Frimpong and Bennet Ofori.

The dethroned league champions are fervently preparing for the 2015/16 league season as they ended this season's league trophyless.
