Olympique Marseille have loaned Andre Ayew to Newcastle - reports

French giants Olympique Marseille have offered attacking midfielder Andre Ayew to English Premier League side Newcastle United, according to reports.

The reports come in conjunction with Marseille President Vincent Labrune’s current visit to London. Labrune is believed to be have offered the Ghana international to a number of clubs in the capital where Arsenal, West Ham, QPR and Crystal Palace.

It is certain that Marseille are ready to release their talisman for the right fee after it emerged that Inter Milan were ready to meet his asking price.

Ayew came off the bench in Marseille’s opening 3-3 draw at Bastia and handed a starting role last week at home to Montpellier.

But the 24-year-old was forced off the pitch early on in the second half due to a head injury and Marseille failing to pack an extra jersey for him.
