Ghana international Daniel Opare will complete his move to Turkish giants Besiktas in the coming days.

The Ghanaian lateral defender had his contract with Bundesliga side Augsburg terminated in February for holding talks with Schalke 04 though he was in the final six-months of his contract with the Black Eagles.

Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal that Besiktas are in the market looking for a replacement for their right-back Gökhan Gönül who has attracted interest from newly-promoted EPL side Fulham.

Initial talks between Opare and Be?ikta? have gone on well on phone and the former Real Madrid B defender is expected to complete the negotiations with Club Manager Metin Albayrak.

Opare who has been training in Belgium played 17 games for Augsburg in the just-ended season and was one of their key players before being banished by the management.

This is going to be the second time Opare will play for the Istanbul Club as he featured for them on loan from FC Porto during the 2014/2015 season where he made 11 appearances scoring one goal.

The possible signing of Opare is good news for manager ?enol Güne? as the side will be playing in the 2018/2019 Europa League.
