Ex Bayern Munich star, Samuel Osei Kuffuor is in pole position to be appointed as the Chief Executive of Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko following the sacking of Opoku Nti as the General Manager.
Sportscrusader investigations has revealed that the Bayern Legend is in race with Dr Kwaku Frimpong, CEO of Champion Divine Clinic as Kotoko’s life patron, the Asantehene is in the processes of assessing the two before making an informed appointment by the close of the week.
Club legend Opoku Nti faces the axe after failing to lead the Porcupine Warriors defend the Ghana Premier League crown. The club also failed to qualify for the CAF Champions League putting Nti’s future in doubt.
According to Sportscrusader.com sources, the Asantehene has had talks with Samuel Osei Kuffuor over the possibility of replacing Opoku Nti.
Kuffuor was a board member of the club but fell out with the club’s hierarchy.
